Cambodian cashew nuts have been recognized as the best in the world due to their large size, superior quality, white color, and high nutrient content. The German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) analyzed two varieties of Cambodian cashew nuts — M23 and H09 — out of four registered with the Ministry of Agriculture: M23, 09, 19, and 04. According to research and analysis, Cambodian cashew nuts are of the highest global quality. The M23 variety stands out as the largest nut in the world, featuring a creamy texture and sweet, delicious flavor. Compared to nuts from other countries such as Brazil, Vietnam, Kenya, and India, Cambodian cashews boast the highest nutrient content, including 33 grams of carbohydrates, 16 grams of sodium, and 34 grams of vitamin K per serving. In 2019, the University of Tokyo tested a sample of M23 cashew nuts and found they contained oleic acid, an omega-9 fatty acid that supports heart health.

Cashew Nut Crops Supply Network

We are establishing a supply network that connects indigenous cashew nut farmers with young farmers in the Sambour Prei Kuk area. This initiative aims to deliver high-quality crops and ensure a consistent and efficient production chain.

Cleaning and Drying Process

Crops sourced from farmers are first inspected by our quality control team. They are then moved to the washing area, where any impurities, sugars, and dust are thoroughly removed. After washing, the crops are sun-dried to achieve an optimal moisture content of 8%.

V-Pantry manages the entire cashew nut processing cycle from start to finish. We exclusively process Cambodian cashew nuts sourced from our network of farmers, all of whom receive training to produce high-quality cashew nuts.
